About the role

Join the Infrastructure and Operations Team, in the Bilingual Senior Specialist, Network Administrator position. In this role, you will oversee the operation, stability, and continuous improvement of enterprise infrastructure across on premises and hybrid environments. You will provide hands on senior technical expertise across networking and voice/video platforms,  ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant services. Working with a high level of autonomy, you will drive modernization, automation, and complex troubleshooting initiatives that enhance infrastructure performance.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Proactively monitor, analyze, and optimize infrastructure availability, performance, and capacity, while resolving issues before they impact services. 
  • Act as a senior technical escalation point, leading complex incident investigation, root cause analysis, and problem resolution in alignment with ITSM (Information Technology Service Management) processes. 
  • Lead and support infrastructure lifecycle and modernization initiatives, including upgrades, migrations, and cloud adjacent transformations. 
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure security controls, patching practices, and hardening standards in collaboration with cybersecurity teams. 
  • Support and continuously improve backup, recovery, and disaster recovery capabilities, including testing and validation activities. 
  • Develop and maintain automation, tooling, and operational documentation to improve efficiency, consistency, and service reliability. 
  • Support the evolution of the enterprise security posture by implementing and maintaining Zero Trust architecture principles, including identity-based access controls and secure edge access.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and advisory support to infrastructure peers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and shared accountability.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison with external vendors for escalated support cases, actively managing open incidents through to resolution and advocating for organizational priorities.


What you should have:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience can be considered.  
  • A minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure administration roles. 
  • Senior level, experience across multiple infrastructure domains, including servers and virtualization, networking and voice/video, storage and backup, and database platforms. 
  • Experience supporting on premises and hybrid cloud environments, ensuring reliability, security, and recoverability. 
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM processes (incident, problem, and change management), with advanced troubleshooting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell). 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in both French and English, engaging technical and non technical stakeholders.


Technologies: 

 

  • Network Technologies – LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, SD WAN, MPLS, and voice/video collaboration platforms.
  • Automation & operations: Ansible scripting, infrastructure monitoring, and ITSM tools.
  • Cloud & Hybrid Network Infrastructure – Microsoft Azure and on premises to cloud integration.
  • Network Security & Zero Trust – Implementation of STNA, SASE, Identity-aware Proxies and advance firewall policies enforcing continuous authentication. 


It would be great if you also had:

 

  • Experience in regulated or security sensitive environments.
  • Exposure to cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of enterprise standards; ITIL certification or equivalent service management certification are an asset.
  • Industry certifications in infrastructure technologies (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Azure, networking, backup, or database platforms) are considered assets.
