About the role
Join the Total Rewards Support team in the Bilingual Manager, Total Rewards Support position. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of support for Total Rewards programs and initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the broader Total Rewards team and engage with business lines to gather insights that inform the enhancement and evolution of Total Rewards programs and policies. You will lead and develop a team and manage the administration of Total Rewards programs and projects, and ensure progress is tracked and deliverables are achieved in alignment with established goals.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure effective and efficient delivery of program initiatives and consistency in the application and interpretation of program policies and operational procedures.
- Procure and oversee the delivery of services from external consultants hired to assist in resource-limited areas of specialty for Total Rewards.
- Facilitate internal collaboration, knowledge sharing and process coordination with team members in the Total Rewards team in order to improve client satisfaction, productivity and alignment with key corporate initiatives and plans.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to team members, including the operational planning/scheduling of work and resolution of escalated issues.
- Develop, implement and monitor plans and processes to improve total rewards operations and promote continuous improvement.
- Conduct ongoing reviews and updates on the effectiveness and relevance of Total Rewards policies and programs.
- Provide expert and comprehensive advice, guidance and recommendations to Director, Total Rewards on the interpretation and improvement of procedures in support of Total Rewards policies.
- Conduct research and benchmarking on Total Rewards practices on behalf of division and broader implementation considerations.
What you should have:
- An undergraduate degree in a related field such as business administration, industrial relations, psychology, or human resource management.
- A minimum of seven years of prior relevant experience with at least three years managing others.
- A broad knowledge and understanding of human resources management policies, practices, theories, concepts and systems.
- An understanding of Total Rewards policies and practices.
- Excellent consulting, coaching and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, including the ability to speak and write clearly and succinctly in a variety of settings and styles to a variety of stakeholders in both official languages French and English.
- The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- A broad knowledge of CMHC's business, mandate, and objectives.
It would be great if you also had:
- A certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation would be considered an asset.
