Join the Policy and Innovation Team, where we accelerate housing affordability through evidence-based policy, research and disruptive innovation.   Your strong analytical skills and your ability to interface and work with your colleague will ensure the effective provision of business expertise and support for the development, implementation and maintenance of the Corporation’s applications, tools and/or business systems and any interfaces to these systems.


Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensures effective and comprehensive analysis is conducted to create reports and quality control checks and provide expertise on statistical reporting tools and applications, including systems testing.
  • Develops detailed work plans, project deliverables and project management processes 
  • Leads the development and documentation of functional business requirements, analysis tools and solutions, including enhancements, changes or fixes to business systems in collaboration with senior staff, clients and IT.
  • Provides assessment of applications, tools and/or business system activities related to delivery of services to internal and/or external parties, .
  • Provides technical expertise on statistical reporting tools and applications and identifies opportunities for automation of functions/processes.
  • Liaises with internal and/or external stakeholders and/or third party suppliers in the maintenance, monitoring and resolution of problems related to business systems.
  • Develops and conducts peer reviews to ensure functional business requirements are met.
  • Liaises with internal and external clients and other stakeholders to clarify issues and opportunities for improvement.


Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field such as computer science, business administration or commerce and/or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation
  • Minimum of five years of related experience with increasing responsibilities.
  • Good oral and written communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Project management skills acquired through the management of small to medium-sized projects.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal capabilities with demonstrated ability to interface and work with colleagues, showing tact and diplomacy at all times.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills with the ability to reason logically and recognize assumptions.
  • Knowledge of SAS, R or Python
