Salary: Our salaries generally range from $ 83038.35 to $ 103797.93 and are based on qualifications and experience.

About the role 

Join the Commercial Solutions sector in the Specialist, Quantitative Analysis position. You will lead the development, implementation, calibration, documentation and maintenance of complex quantitative analyses. You will drive insights discovery through the right combination of quantitative techniques, analytical expertise and use of a variety of technologies while ensuring integrity and accuracy of data. Your expertise delivering results through appropriate channels and making adjustments based on the audience that will help us make housing affordable for everyone in Canada. 
  

What you’ll do : 

  

  • Provide data interpretation including relationships and trends analysis. 
  • Develop indicators, scorecards and dashboards from environmental scanning, research and benchmarking exercises. 
  • Create opportunities to improve report delivery including automation and self-service approaches. 
  • Lead the preparation of briefs, reports, business cases and/or presentations based on research topics and analyses; present to senior level stakeholders, both internally and externally, as required. 
  • Manipulate and analyze large datasets while ensuring data integrity and accuracy. 
  • Employ qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques, including scenario building, modelling of alternatives, etc., to provide assessments of policy options and expected outcomes. 

 
What you should have : 

  

  • An undergraduate degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, economics, commerce, computer science, engineering or business intelligence. 
  • A minimum of five years of prior relevant experience in analytics or finance industry. 
  • Expertise in the standard Microsoft suite, SAS and other tools such as open source tools (R, Python) and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau). 
  • Sound analytical skills with demonstrated quantitative/qualitative analytical and problem-solving skills to capture and synthesize information and develop recommendations and provide advice. 
  • Advanced communication skills and the ability to make clear and concise presentations for decision-making. 
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build models required to understand issues at a detail level and forecast impacts of change.
