About the role

Join the Business Solutions Engineering team, in the Software Developer (Full Stack) position, where we are developing the next generation of software applications to enable CMHC to achieve its strategy. Your skills and passion for application development, programming, user-centric design and software reliability will support the development and maintenance of CMHC’s business platforms and other applications to propel CMHC forward efficiently and securely. 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Work with the team to collaborate with the client community to understand their system needs, document current and future business processes.
  • Contribute to technical specification documents and diagrams for new and existing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain backend solutions using .NET technologies.
  • Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM to meet business needs.
  • Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to test, deployment and support.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including unit testing, defect resolution, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high-quality deliverables.

 

What you should have:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field—or a combination of education and experience that proves you’re ready to lead.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience building, testing, and deploying .NET solutions that scale and perform.
  • A passion for technology and motivation that is driven by technical challenges and innovation.
  • A desire to continuously grow your expertise through learning and professional development.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and provide concise progress updates to leadership.
  • Proven team player, adept at collaborating in a dynamic environment, sharing knowledge, and contributing to collective success.

 

Technologies:

 

  • Code development using Visual Studio, .Net Development (C#).
  • Front-end development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript UI frameworks.
  • Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git, SQL and Relational Database management systems.
  • Azure cloud platform, Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.

 

It would be great if you also had:

 

  • Exposure or experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
