Join the People and Culture Analytics Team, where your forward thinking, leadership and business acumen will drive change efforts and other strategic corporate initiatives based on the effective selection, methodologies and strategies informed from data. As an expert in translating valuable insights from data, your role will consist of data development, data oversight, as well as strategy and risk management. This is an individual contributor role without the responsibility of managing a team; however, the ability to influence and rally stakeholders behind a common goal are aptitudes that are key success drivers in the role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of performance measurement frameworks, including identification of applicable indicators and data sources / linkages to increase the breadth and usefulness of data.
- Ensure the use and deployment of strategic analytical tools, models and techniques used for data analysis and interpretation are aligned with industry best practices.
- Strategize with management, provide direction and input into the development of business strategy, and continuously act as oversight on progress of new corporate initiatives.
- Identify changes in strategic priorities and analytics requirements through ongoing communications with management.
- Oversee the analysis of risks, issues, and opportunities within CMHC's risk appetite initiatives and inform leadership team of concerns.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in a related field such as business administration, finance, or economics and seven years’ experience in data analytics.
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated experience in data development, analysis and research methodologies; quantitative and market analysis; economic modeling and projection techniques.
- Ability to analyze transformation solutions and support their implementation.
- Advanced statistical skills to oversee the provision of high quality data and analytics.
- Expert ability to synthesize large amounts of data and translate into simple, plain language and provide actionable recommendations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills including presentation skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingualism (French and English).
