Salary: Our salaries generally range from $ 97692,52 to $ 122115.65 and are based on qualifications and experience.

Join the Client Solution Team where our partners view CMHC as the catalyst for solving housing affordability challenges. You will be leading the development of effective strategies and products, risk management and provide solutions through expert guidance in order to promote housing affordability and financial markets stability. You will contribute to the development of new products, policies, services and systems as well as provide strategic input into policy direction and implement CMHC's mission, vision and goals. Your expertise overseeing the consultation process with internal/external stakeholders to inform the divisional and corporate strategic directions will help us make housing affordable for everyone in Canada.

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Acts as a subject matter expert and provides guidance, advice and recommendations on strategy, policies, risk management and procedures.
  • Develops and maintains strong internal and external relationships.  
  • Identifies opportunities through market knowledge and understanding of best practices to strengthen and enhance the strategies, policies, frameworks and structures to achieve objectives. 
  • Leads strategy and policy development, collaborating with internal partners and consulting with program participants, service providers, industry stakeholders and associations.
  • Collaborates with colleagues, analyses data and leverages expertize to develop advice and recommendations to enhance strategies, policies and risk management. 
  • Identifies and advances opportunities to collaborate, share intelligence and provide technical advice both internally and externally to support strategic direction.


Minimum Qualifications: 

 

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field, such as business, economics or finance.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in a capital markets-related field.
  • Proven knowledge of housing markets, Canada’s housing finance system, capital market practises and mortgage funding structures. 
  • Ability to interpret information from various sources to identify and prioritize opportunities for continuous program development.
  • Ability to develop and advance comprehensive assessments and recommendations for programs and policies that demonstrate strong understanding of impacts and risks. 
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with others to develop and advance initiatives that contribute to business and corporate strategies and objectives. 
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication and presentation skills with ability to gauge the technical knowledge of the audience and communicate complex information in a concise and understandable way. 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both official languages (English and French).

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Professional designation such as CFA, FRM or accounting designation would be considered an asset.
