About the role
We are hiring full-time summer interns beginning in May through August 2026. Our internship program is designed to help you grow, with access to training resources, interesting projects, and networking sessions that support your development and help you discover your full potential.
This Intern will report to the Accounting Operations and Procurement team.

Here’s an example of how you’ll make an impact :
- Support the procurement team in the coordination and processing RFx processes and negotiations of contracts with the objective of obtaining best value for CMHC.
- Provide administrative support to the procurement department and maintaining vendor records.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of procurement knowledge.
- Support the Procurement team in achieving strategic goals to ensure effective procurement practices within CMHC business lines.
- Support business lines to ensure they achieve their business objectives through effective use of procurement and sourcing strategies.
- Aim for the highest personal and professional standards, acting with integrity, honesty, diligence and in good faith for the best interest of the Corporation.
What you need to succeed:
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a College or University degree in a related discipline such as Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, etc.
- Previous experience incorporate procurement procedures, administrative support, project management, customer service, or related experience. Experience can be acquired through the studies, work experience or volunteer activities.
- Knowledge of corporate procurement policies and procedures, outsourcing practices, purchasing and contract law.
- Strong oral and written communication, excellent organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.
Nice to have:
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset, but not required.
