Salary: Our salaries generally range from $ 86816.59 to $ 108520.74 and are based on qualifications and experience.

About the role
Join the Multi Unit Insurance Operational Support Team, in the Specialist, Training position. In this role, you will support the design, development and implementation of employee training, and strategies and plans targeting specific topics based on client needs. In this role, you will partner closely with business lines across multi-unit operations to identify capability gaps and co-develop learning and development plans that align with operational priorities. You will evaluate training outcomes, and conduct research to gather and provide best practice information which contributes to the strategic direction for program areas.

 

This is a temporary position of a duration of 18 months. 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Lead the design and delivery of new and existing learning and training materials for staff, including communications, training, functional guidance and monitoring.
  • Partner with leaders across multi-unit operations to support business priorities and ensure alignment of learning strategies with operational needs.
  • Collaborate with business lines to assess workforce capabilities and develop targeted learning and development plans that address identified gaps.
  • Develop and implement methods for soliciting feedback on program effectiveness and develop improvements.
  • Ensure training and resource material content is meeting client needs and that training delivery is meeting the standards that were communicated through training.
  • Establish and maintain key relationships with program area subject matter experts and stakeholders.
  • Present strategic plans, training and other materials to internal audiences for approval and/or information purposes.
  • Manage the development, implementation, negotiation and quality assurance of contracts with internal and external service providers.

 

What you should have:

 

  • An undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, Marketing, Communications, Training & Development, or related field (an equivalent combination of education and/or experience can be considered).
  • A minimum 5 years of progressive experience in learning and development, training, or adult education, including facilitation and e-learning.
  • A minimum 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or mortgage loan insurance (MLI).
  • A proven ability to design and develop training materials, tools, and learning programs aligned with adult learning principles.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with experience delivering training sessions at a national level.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Adobe tools and/or other training platforms to create training materials.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and analytical skills, with the ability to build partnerships and support strategic business objectives.
