About the role
Join the Technology and Business Transformation sector, in the Specialist, Change Management position. As part of the Change Management team, you will use your leadership, strategic thinking and analytical skills to provide change management support to specific corporate projects and initiatives. A key part of your role will be promoting integration across CMHC’s portfolio of change initiatives to support a seamless change experience for our employees and clients. You will also contribute to the advancement of organizational change management capability by promoting the value and role of change management across the organization.
This is a temporary position until December 2026.
What you’ll do:
- Provide change management advisory services to mitigate change risks, support decision-making, and ensure integration across CMHC’s change initiatives.
- Collaborate with leaders and teams at all levels to assess the impact of change, define solutions for managing it, and develop change strategies and plans.
- Apply the change management methodology to create strategies and detailed plans aligned with project goals.
- Develop materials such as targeted communications and training content to support the execution of change management plans.
- Monitor and report on progress of the execution of change strategies and plans.
- Offer recommendations to project leaders on best practices and targeted interventions that will manage resistance to change.
- Educate employees on the value and role of change management and develop and socialize change management tools and resources.
What you should have:
- An undergraduate degree in a related field such as business, technology, social or human sciences.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience supporting change management on complex projects.
- A good knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.
- A demonstrated experience developing targeted communications and training content.
- A demonstrated experience developing, implementing and measuring change management strategies, plans and tactics, to effectively lead others through change.
- Advanced interpersonal, oral and written communication, facilitation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
It would be great if you also had:
- A change management certification (ADKAR preferred).
- Bilingualism (French and English).
