About the role

We’re constantly evolving to build an inclusive housing system through research, design, innovation and partnerships. This role examines the company’s most critical business processes in an effort to reduce process complexity and variability, improve interdependencies with other processes, and generate increased capacity for the Corporation’s strategic objectives. Your experience with process design and improvement will help us make housing affordable for everyone in Canada.

 

What you will need

  • Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience.
  • Mandatory certification: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
  • Additional certification: ADKAR (preferred).
  • Knowledge of process design and improvement methodologies and frameworks (for example, Lean Six Sigma).
  • Understanding of principles of organizational change management.
  • Demonstrated experience working on process design and re-engineering using a variety of techniques within and across all business units of a large organization.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating with senior management to influence management decision making and persuade others to take a course of action.
  • Expert ability to identify and analyze trends, patterns or connections between issues.
  • Expert analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyze business processes and workflows.
  • Advanced demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment in which the ability to adapt to change is critical.
  • Advanced ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced interpersonal and active listening skills (tact, diplomacy, judgment).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, facilitate and deliver awareness programs/sessions, as required.

 

What you will be doing

  • Leads process design and improvement projects with broad corporate implications that may have cross-sector impacts, including defining goals and objectives, planning and measurement.
  • Works with business lines and functions to identify, analyze, structure, prioritize, sequence and capture significant business process design, redesign and improvement opportunities.
  • Contributes to materially improving performance as well as the client and employee experience.
  • Designs new processes that focus on client needs and resolve issues that current processes cannot.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert regarding best practices in business process measurement, analysis, redesign, change and ongoing process management.
  • Develops and reports on performance measures to ensure that process improvements have achieved significant results and efficiencies are sustained.
  • Fosters and sustains quality influential relationships with senior leadership to enable the creation and/or strengthening of synergies between business lines for process performance improvements.
  • Participate in the building of the continuous process improvement capability for the organization.
