About the role
Join the Business planning and optimization (BOP) team, in the Specialist, Business Planning and Reporting position. In this role, you will drive forward key planning initiatives, contribute to evolving strategic priorities, and lead or support a wide range of innovative projects. You will use your insight and initiative to uncover opportunities, streamline processes, and elevate performance across the organization. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment—where your ideas fuel progress, and your work directly influences operational excellence and long‑term success.
This is a temporary position until December 2027.
What you’ll do:
- Manage business reporting and monitoring while reviewing and maintaining data integrity for senior management.
- Provide expert input to the annual performance measures of various resources that support the deployment of specific strategies and plans.
- Develop and maintain a measurement structure for reporting business plans to senior management.
- Develop and maintain an overview of the dashboard for concise reporting.
- Carry out a range of activities to develop an in-depth and ongoing understanding of critical business requirements.
- Provide priority and focus to critical clients to ensure that relationships are strengthened and enhanced.
- Build alliances and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
What you should have:
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as finance, business or economics and minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in client relations in the financial services/mortgage services industry (an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suites.
- A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of dashboards, metrics, analysis, operating environment, trends, business.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to undertake and complete multiple concurrent tasks.
- Advanced analytical ability and the ability to model and assess risks.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to interpret and present complex information in a succinct way.
It would be great if you also had:
- Advanced PowerPoint and experience developing training content.
- Knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., D365), management tools, Power BI, and AI platforms (e.g., Copilot).
- Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate (data flows, process automation, KPI distribution).
- Strong understanding of sales metrics (ROI, churn, conversions) and familiarity with Databricks/SQL.
