About the role
Join the Technology Solutions Team in the Sitecore Developer position. In this role, you will participate in the design, development and maintenance of Sitecore solutions. You will act as a point of contact for all stakeholders, which will include analyzing and meeting the needs of CMHC’s internal clients. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Interface with the client community to determine their system needs, document the current and proposed business processes, and advise clients of the proposed solutions and their impacts.
  • Develop custom features by using Sitecore features to meet CMHC’s needs.
  • Design and develop web page components and templates using markup languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Develop and integrate new features into the Sitecore platform.
  • Create and manage content workflows for efficient content management.
  • Implement customization features to optimize the user experience.
  • Manage the integration of third-party applications with Sitecore.
  • Participate in ongoing application maintenance support for existing solutions.

 

What you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience programming, developing, and implementing business applications. 
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in developing Sitecore solutions.
  • An expertise with cloud-based systems (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS)
  • Project experience with end-to-end solution implementation, including planning, estimation, and solution architecture.
  • A familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, DevOps.
  • Strong interpersonal and business competencies, including teamwork, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, including an ability to manage multiple priorities with competing demands.

 

Technologies:

  • Experience in Sitecore and its ecosystem.
  • .NET development (C#) ASP.Net. 
  • Web front end development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, responsive design, ReactJS, NodeJS, Typescript, Azure Function App., .NET development (C#) ASP.Net MVC, .Net Core, ASP.Net, Web API, Visual Studio.
  • Knowledge of implementing Coveo search with Sitecore.
  • Source code management and DevOps with Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), Azure DevOps, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus and API Management.

 

It would be great if you also had:

  • A graduate degree or certificate in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • A Sitecore Certification.
