This permanent position is an exceptional opportunity to become a member of the Homeowner Business Transformation team where you will lead and provide the delivery of services and products to our clients using new technology. As a key member of the HBT team, your expertise in Business Systems Analysis, Systems Improvement and process optimization, will help us make housing affordable for everyone in Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and recommending innovative business solutions to support the advancement and maturation of the Homeowner Business Transformation.
- Providing leadership and guidance regarding the design and implementation of transformed underwriting systems with respect to people, processes and technology.
- Identifying and prioritizing enhancements, features, functionality, and improved short- and long-term integrations that support Corporate strategic objectives.
- Building and maintain strong business relationships internal and external stakeholders and acting as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor with respect to HBT design innovation.
- Providing advice and guidance to senior leadership and business areas regarding the transformation project and preparing reports or presentations as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Process Design and Optimization, Technical Writing, Systems Delivery or Support.
- Experience with software or system development processes and major development methodologies (required).
- Demonstrated experience supporting business and technology transformation efforts and leading others through change.
- Demonstrated experience working with external partners to implement major system or process enhancements.
- Demonstrated experience conducting research and in-depth analyses of complex and unique business areas and synthesizing and presenting information to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience planning, developing and implementing business systems enhancement strategies, plans and tactics.
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to persuade, influence and debate with senior level management. Tact, diplomacy and judgment are required.
- Demonstrated experience managing and facilitating problem identification, idea generation and solution-based sessions with a variety of stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience with Homeowner Insurance systems, operations or policy is considered an asset.
