This position reports to the Systems team in our Office of the Chief Financial Officer sector. This sector uses financial foresight and legal insight to improve housing affordability.

About the role
We’re constantly evolving to build an inclusive housing system through research, design, innovation and partnerships. You will lead, oversee and support the overall delivery of the finance technology and business process transformation in relation to the Homeowner Business Transformation. You will play a key role in the adoption of a culture that supports innovation. You will advise senior management on policy and program strategy and execution, and build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the project needs. This will help us make housing affordable for everyone in Canada.
What you will need
• Undergraduate degree in business administration, finance, accounting, commerce or a combination of education and experience. CPA designation is a strong asset.
• Minimum of seven years’ experience in finance technology and business process transformation.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to persuade and influence senior level management with tact, diplomacy.
• Strong consultation, communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated experience supporting finance transformation efforts and leading others through change.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting principles.


Additional Assets:
• Design Thinking, Change Management or Innovation certification(s).

What you will be doing
Advisory Services and Relationship Management
• Develop and recommend innovation strategies, governance and tactics to support the implementation of the financial transformation initiative
• Provide advice and guidance to senior leadership and business areas in the areas of innovation strategy, governance and tactics that support the financial technology and business transformation.
• Influence various stakeholders on the adoption of a culture and climate that supports innovation and change through informal and formal communication methods.

Research and Insight
• Identify gaps and opportunities to create efficiencies, manage risks and support management in implementing the innovation.
• Performs analysis of requirements and issues, including problem solving and the design of innovative solutions.
• Ensures that SIT and UAT testing encompasses all required scenarios and all tests are properly executed.
• Plays a key role in the Business Process Redesign (BPR) as well as the design and implementation of the new ERP integration projects.


• Monitor for potential gaps in the innovation process and act on them.
• Oversees and undertakes necessary activities related to key design decisions, detailed requirements and workflows, process mapping, fit/gap analysis, integration/conversion plan and activities, test cases, and the performance of testing activities.
• Participates and contribute to communication, staff engagement, and change management activitiesEnsure innovations and changes are accurately documented in the updated processes.
• Monitor and report on the program operations and establish and reinforce relations by regularly meeting with the key stakeholders.
