About the role
Join the Technology Solutions Team in the Senior Scrum Master position. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that Scrum practices are followed, driving organizational agility, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and supporting the growth and development of other Scrum Masters and agile teams within the organization.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Track metrics related to team performance, such as velocity, burndown charts, and other relevant agile metrics and usage of these metrics to provide insights into the team's progress and to support data-driven decision-making. 
  • Identify and manage complex backlog structures to support the product owner and team in creating a highly effective Product Backlogs. 
  • Facilitate the development of prioritization frameworks in line with the organizational context to support the product owner and business stakeholders in estimating value and prioritising the work. 
  • Act as a leader and advocate for agile values, principles, and practices within the organization, influencing positive change and adoption. 
  • Provide expertise, consultative advice, guidance and coaching to build individual and organizational capacity to make effective use of Agile practices and tools.  
  • Serve as a mentor, advisor and a subject matter expert to other Scrum masters, teams, and stakeholders on Scrum practices, agile principles, and continuous improvement and across the organization.
  • Lead process improvement opportunities resulting from Agile ceremonies and expanded stakeholder workshops.
  • Lead, motivate and develop relationships with internal and external business partners / stakeholders. 
  • Use knowledge of risks, issues, impediments, and organizational context to identify and foresee impediments and to effectively mobilize stakeholders of different levels to ensure the team remains unblocked.  

 

What you should have:

  • An undergraduate degree in a related field such as Information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience practicing Agile with Scrum and Kanban in IT solutions delivery.
  • An Advanced Agile Certification (for example: DASSM, PSM II-III, A-CSM).
  • An advanced knowledge of agile theory, methodology, techniques, rules, and practices, estimating/sizing, planning, forecasting, reporting, conflict resolution and facilitation.
  • Experience performing in a scaled framework environment such as Safe, Scrum at Scale Disciplined Agile or a hybrid model.
  • Experience using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques.
  • The ability to contribute to the direction of the function and provide advice to the team and delivery leadership.
  • The ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.

 

It would be great if you also had:

  • Experience in the finance domain or related.
  • Practical experience with backlog management and metrics with Azure DevOps.
