About the role
Join the Corporate Services Team, in the Senior Analyst, Risk position. In this position, you will support the continued development and governance of the third-party risk management program. The successful candidate will have experience working with risk data, conducting in-depth analysis, integrating diverse data sources, and presenting actionable insights to stakeholders to help manage CMHC’s third-party risk exposure related to corporate procurement activities.
What you’ll do:
- Participate in the planning, execution, and reporting of third party risk assessments, quality assurance reviews, compliance monitoring, and oversight activities using data analytics.
- Collect and analyze information to identify third-party risks and/or non-compliance issues. Provide actionable recommendations and/or develop risk mitigation and compliance action plans.
- Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources to design and develop interactive Power BI reports and dashboards. Ensure data integrity through validation, reconciliation, and quality control processes, and document any anomalies or discrepancies identified.
- Develop clear and concise reports for clients on an ad hoc basis, summarizing key findings and providing recommendations.
- Work with various stakeholders to aggregate data sets for reporting and contribute to database management and updates.
- Respond to client questionnaires, risk assessments, and due diligence requests. Maintain a repository of commonly requested documents and standardized responses.
- Recommend and assist in implementing key performance indicators (KPIs), risk indicators, and outcome targets to enhance business effectiveness and efficiency.
What you should have:
- An undergraduate degree in a related field such as business, finance or economics.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in procurement or risk-related roles.
- Advanced experience in PowerBi using dashboard or other data analytics tools.
- Sound judgment and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail, and capacity to summarize information based on the relevancy.
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance and Operations).
- Experience in third party risk management.
- Knowledge of the OSFI B-10 Third-Party Risk Management Guideline.
- Bilingualism (French and English).
