Salary: Our salaries generally range from $ 70354.2 to $ 87942.74 and are based on qualifications and experience.

About the role

 

Join the Business Optimization and Systems team in the role of Senior Analyst, Business Systems, where we are transforming the way we do business to enable CMHC to achieve its strategy. Your skills and passion for data, user-centric design and software reliability will support the introduction, proper functioning and maintenance of CMHC’s business platforms and other applications to propel CMHC forward efficiently and securely.


 

This is a temporary position for a duration of 24 months. 

 
 

What you’ll do:  
 

  • Understand the business usage of data and how it interacts between systems.
  • Provide advice and guidance on operational data elements, data structure and tools to interact with data.
  • Interface with the client community and IT to translate business needs into technical solutions. Document the current and proposed business processes. Advise clients of the proposed solutions and their impacts.
  • Troubleshoot data-related incidents, support hotfix and long-term solutions.

 
What you should have: 
 

  • An undergraduate degree in Data Science, Information Management, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 3 years of data related experience including cross system integrations. 
  • An experience in two or more of the following: Cloudera Hue, Collibra, Databricks, Hive, R, Spark, Python, SQL.
  • Preferred experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, DevOps, Azure, Custom Applications built with microservices.
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to discuss technical topics with non-technical/diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills, including an ability to manage multiple priorities with competing demands.

 
It would be great if you also had: 
 

  • A Project Management and/or Business Analysis experience.
