About the role
Join the Homeowner Operations Monitoring and Reporting team in the role of Senior Analyst, Homeowner Operations within the Insurance and Securitization Sector where we make data-driven decisions that support mortgage operations and client service excellence. In this role, you will monitor, report, analyze, and research data and performance best practices. You will identify strategic issues, strengths, and challenges, perform ad hoc analysis and forecasting, and maintain a thorough understanding of the internal and external environment. You will recommend policy and program options, conduct standardized reporting, and prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials.
This is a temporary position of a duration of 18 months.
What you’ll do:
- Manage system access for internal and external clients, including processing time-sensitive requests and maintaining data security.
- Perform accurate data entry, monitor data trends, investigate anomalies, and ensures high data quality standards.
- Use appropriate procedures, including technology tools, to perform data monitoring and various analytical and/or reporting requirements to support various auditing and operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with program criteria, operational guidelines, and financial system requirements through proper documentation and oversight.
- Collaborate with service providers to manage claims and administer insurance and property-related tasks.
- Analyze and enhance administrative practices, contributing to the design and integration of process improvements and automation.
- Apply knowledge of mortgage processes and terminology.
- Act as the first point of contact for stakeholders, deliver training, create reports, and manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills.
What you should have:
- An undergraduate degree in Business Administration or in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years of related experience in reporting and mortgage-related functions.
- A strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
- A proven ability to meet deadlines, manage competing priorities, and adapt to evolving processes and organizational needs.
- Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to synthesize information, provide recommendations, and deliver professional client service.
- Effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners, supported by an understanding of work procedures and their impact on business continuity.
It would be great if you also had:
- Solid oral and written communication skills in both official languages (French and English).
- Knowledge of database and analytical tools.
