This position reports to the Monitoring and Reporting team in our Office of the SVP, Client Operations. This sector makes delivering housing affordability solutions easy.

About the role
We’re constantly evolving to build an inclusive housing system through research, design, innovation and partnerships. You will provide support and assistance in a range of activities related to reporting, monitoring and conducting analyses on housing programs. You will develop various financial and data reports, monitor internal controls and work closely with various stakeholders.  This will help us make housing affordable for everyone in Canada.
We have 2 positions available (English Essential and Bilingual CBC) .


What you will need
• Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration or commerce.
• Minimum of three years of experience working with financial and data reporting. 
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and to manage several ongoing and competing projects.
• Excellent ability to gather and analyze information, synthesize key elements and summarize recommendations.
• Solid knowledge of such risk categories as Strategic Risk, Reputation Risk and Operational Risk.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills; ability to take initiative and work independently on policy and product improvement projects as well as the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment. 


Additional Assets
• MBA or professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA, CPA).

What you will be doing
• Provide support in the creation of analytical reports within the directorate.  Ensures data validation and quality control checks are performed and ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Respond to data requests from clients including ad hoc financial analysis related to corporate initiatives.
• Identify and interprets financial information that supports accounting and reporting activities pertaining to the overall corporate performance.
• Use appropriate analytical tools to perform data mining in support of team initiatives and business needs.
• Support the monitoring of overall data quality in related systems, supports resolutions of any issues to assure the integrity of the information held in the system. Proactively identifies issues that could compromise integrity and supports initiatives to address issues. 
• Contribute with the monitoring of budgets against corporate appropriations, corporate authorities and commitments.
