About the role

Join the Multi-Unit System Operations and Support team in the role of Senior Analyst, Operational Policies and Program. You will participate and support multidisciplinary technological projects impacting multiple stakeholders within the corporation. You will identify system issues, strengths and challenges, and perform ad hoc analysis as well as provide technical and operational support to business stakeholders.

 

This is a temporary position of a duration of 15 months.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Undertake the development and documentation of functional business requirements, analysis tools and solutions, including enhancements, changes or fixes to business systems.
  • Organize, retrieve, analyze and maintain complex information critical to the development of system enhancements.
  • Conduct effective testing and post-implementation reviews to ensure objectives and quality controls have been met.
  • Contribute to the design and integration of underwriting process enhancements.
  • Undertake effective research in support of various projects and initiatives.
  • Provide oversight to ensure processes are properly administered, documented, approved and accounted for in the Multi-Unit underwriting system.
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal/external stakeholders seeking guidance, information sharing and interpretation. Oversee the escalation of concerns when deemed appropriate.
  • Prepare and support the development of guidelines and responses to client requests.

 

What you should have:

  • An undergraduate degree in Business Administration or in a related discipline.
  • A minimum of three years of related experience with increasing responsibility in housing finance, insurance or business system management.
  • Knowledge of analytical tools, including an understanding of Microsoft Suite products.
  • Understanding of a range of work procedures and their impact on internal and external work areas for Business Continuity.
  • The ability to write or modify documents to effectively convey information, requiring reasoning and analysis skills.
  • Sound analytical skills with demonstrated ability to capture and synthesize information to develop recommendations and provide advice.
