We are currently hiring for 2 full-time Student Interns for 4-month terms: Fall (September to December) 2023. These interns will be a part of the following team:
- External Affairs - Communication & Marketing.
Our internships are designed to be meaningful work experiences allowing students to gain significant skills, learn and grow in their field of their interest.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities related to the production of (internal and external) meetings, conferences, and events hosted by CMHC.
- Perform project coordination and administrative duties associated with producing the events.
- Ensure compliance with the organizations’ regulations and procedures.
- Contribute to ensure quality control of all communications products related to ministerial events and announcements.
- Contribute to reporting and data entry management. Perform basic data analysis and research specific related to communications and marketing.
- Build and maintain relationships with key audiences through communications.
- Analyze trends and topics related to ministerial events project management.
- Understand the principles of brand management and demonstrate brand consistency in assigned projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a post-secondary degree in a related discipline such as Events Management, Communications, Marketing, and Business Administration.
- Previous experience working in events management and coordination, communications, and marketing.
- Experience can be acquired through the studies, work experience or volunteer activities.
- Good oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Good judgment, excellent organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingualism (English & French).
