We are currently hiring for 6 full-time Student Interns for 4-month terms: Fall (September to December) 2023. These interns will be a part of the following teams:
- Audit and Compliance.
- Accounting Operations and Procurement (2 positions available).
- Homeowner Operations.
- Collection and Recoveries.
- Housing Programs.

Responsibilities:
- Execute maintenance activities with respect to data and data quality, relevant to financial reporting.
- Contribute to the delivery of projects, carrying out specified project activities within a defined time and quality parameters and ensuring adherence to the prescribed project management methodology.
- Track progress against budgets within established finance systems and report variances to colleagues that are more senior.
- Extract and combine data to generate standard reports.
- Produce, update and provide best practice support on a wide range of reports, databases and other departmental systems to support team deliverables.
- Gather, analyze and evaluate financial information for assigned financial analysis. Provide financial reporting support in preparing reports, presentations, etc. Work on special projects as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a College or University degree in a related discipline such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
- Previous experience in finance or banking, and knowledge of relevant financial, legislative and regulatory environments
- Experience can be acquired through the studies, work experience or volunteer activities.
- Good oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to function in a sophisticated technological environment using tools such as spreadsheets, and applications as well as consolidation and reporting tools such as MS Excel and PowerBI.
- Good judgment, excellent organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingualism (English & French).
- Pursuing a CPA.
