About the role

We are hiring full-time Student Interns for a 4-month Summer internship from May to August 2025. This role will report to the Accounting Operations and Procurement team.
Here’s an example of how you’ll make an impact:
- Process AP, AR, vendor requisitions and/or cash management transactions.
- Create and maintain vendors and customers master data records.
- Follow -up on outstanding transactions, prepare payment requests and journal vouchers, record receipts and collect AR.
- Verify transactions submitted for processing such as approvals, coding and supporting documentation for compliance with applicable policies and guidelines.
- Support internal and external clients in understanding and adhering to requirements.
- Analyze and review financial reports, clarify, and explain financial implications and issues.
- Issue updated reports for external and internal clients for distribution and publication when applicable.
- Participate in system and process improvements.
What you need to succeed:
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a College or University degree in a related discipline such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
- A previous experience in accounting, processing accounts payable and/or accounts receivable transactions. The experience can be acquired through the studies, work experience or volunteer activities.
- The ability to function in a sophisticated technological environment using tools such as spreadsheets, and applications as well as consolidation and reporting tools such as MS Excel and PowerBI.
- Good knowledge of accepted accounting principles.
- Strong oral and written communication, excellent organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.
Nice to have:
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset, but not required.
- Pursuing a CPA is considered an asset
- Experience working with PowerBI.
- Experience working with MS Dynamics / D365.
