About the role
Join the Talent Acquisition Team, in the IT Recruiter/Sourcer position, where you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and attracting top IT talent through a combination of sourcing strategies, market research, and recruitment best practices. You will partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, build strong talent pipelines, and ensure a high-quality candidate experience.
This is a temporary position of a duration of 13 months.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to understand business needs and role requirements.
- Determine, develop and execute sourcing and attraction strategies accross mutliple channels (LinkedIn, job boards, boolean search, talent communities, referrals, etc.).to fill positions in accordance with the established talent acquisition metrics and service level agreements.
- Build and maintain proactive pipelines for recurring or hard‑to‑fill roles.
- Pre‑screen candidates to assess skills, experience, and alignment with role requirements.
- Conduct market research to identify talent pools, competitor insights, and emerging trends.
- Engage passive candidates through personalized outreach and relationship‑building.
- Create a positive and professional experience for all applicants.
- Track sourcing activity and pipeline metrics; provide insights and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to improve sourcing tools, processes, and strategies.
- Stay current with best practices in sourcing, recruitment marketing, and AI‑enabled tools.
What you should have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field such as Psychology, Business Administration or Industrial Relations.
- A minimum of five (5) years of recruitment experience managing high-volume of requisitions in a financial institution.
- A combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Strong experience recruiting IT roles.
- Strong experience using social media, recruitment platforms or softwares ATS database, websites, Boolean searches and advanced sourcing techniques.
- Knowledge of Canadian applicable laws, policies and best practices related to talent acquisition.
- Experience using an ATS (SuccessFactors is preferred).
- Bilingual with strong interpersonal and communication skills in both official languages (French and English).
