Join the Innovation & Partnerships Division where we accelerate housing affordability through strategic engagement, research and disruptive innovation.  A suite of innovation programming is at the core of the work that we do.  We strive to have an important impact in the housing space, removing barriers to housing supply, convening teams to collaboratively tackle important problems, supporting and showcasing innovative solutions to normalize, promote, and potentially scale successful work. 


We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join the team. You will be responsible for a particular portfolio in delivering on the mobilization of knowledge resulting from our innovation programming.  As a member of the team, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and facilitating their replication, scaling or adoption through increased awareness with target audiences (both internal and external). You will develop and implement strategies to mobilize innovation programming-related knowledge/insight to influence internal business lines and external housing actors. You will play a critical role in ensuring positive relationships with relevant stakeholders, paying attention to end-user participation and impact. 




  • Lead or support the development of a knowledge mobilization strategy for innovation-related programming (including the Affordable Housing Innovation Fund), with the goal of influencing housing actors to drive housing affordability.
  • Develop and implement plan to disseminate knowledge to key stakeholders (internal and external) using relevant channels and strategies.
  • Organize and execute knowledge mobilization opportunities through conferences, webinars, panels, etc. in close collaboration with relevant internal business lines, including innovation programming delivery teams and Research team.
  • Develop and oversee process to produce program and project-specific knowledge products. Some examples could include Summary Reports of Findings, Project Profiles, Project Impact stories, Casebooks and Case Studies.
  • Actively gathers intelligence from relationships to support and influence policy and content development, business strategy and research planning.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Minimum of five years (5) of experience in a similar role, including a minimum three years (3) in leading knowledge mobilization-related projects.
  • Excellent relationship management skills with a demonstrated ability to foster a trust relationship with stakeholders.
  • Experience initiating, developing, and managing projects and leading multi-disciplinary project teams.    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.    
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Good knowledge and understanding of the housing system as well as social, economic, political, demographic, legal and environmental factors and trends related to housing.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) system and Dynamics 365.
