About the role
Join the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) in the Bilingual Senior Specialist, Project Management position. Leveraging your experience in sound project management practice, you will collaborate with business and functional leads to direct multi-functional teams in executing projects and delivering value to the company.  

 

This is a temporary position of a duration of 15 months.
  
What you’ll do:     

  • Lead scoping, planning and benefits realization activities for enterprise projects, including communication planning, budget tracking, establishment of roles and responsibilities, stakeholder engagement and project team composition.  
  • Work closely with sponsors, steering committees and the EPMO to prioritize, plan, execute and monitor the health of each initiative against defined benefits, ensuring risks and issues are documented and addressed.  
  • Make sure that projects adhere to the agreed schedule and budget and align with the strategic direction of the portfolio.  
  • Provide regular reporting to the project governance, the EPMO, and corporate governance committees as required.  
  • Support the project change control process, including assessment of impacts to project delivery, corporate risk and expected benefits/outcomes, and make recommendations to mitigate identified risks and to address potential, emerging issues. 
  • Ensure support of change management activities, including project handoff, training, communications, and overall operating framework support in order to ensure successful project completion and handoff.  

  
What you should have:       

  • A Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: IT, business administration, engineering.  
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.  
  • A minimum of seven years of prior relevant experience which includes experience managing complex, cross-functional, high-risk enterprise projects.  
  • A demonstrated experience leading initiatives end-to-end, from scoping, to proof-of-life, to full fruition with an eye of optimization and efficiency and utilizing industry standards and best practices.  
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills with the ability to deliver persuasive, and clear presentation of ideas that will convince others and gain acceptance of proposals or plans.  
  • Diplomacy and strong interpersonal skills are critical. 
  • Sound analytical skills with demonstrated ability to capture and synthesize information to develop recommendations and provide advice. 

 

It would be great if you also had:

  • A valid Secret clearance.
