About the role
Join the IT Performance and Planning team, as a Senior Specialist, where you’ll play a key role in building and evolving IT’s performance measurement and reporting capabilities. You’ll define meaningful performance indicators, create impactful dashboards, and turn data into insights that drive better decisions and clearer business outcomes.
Help shape how IT measures, understands, and demonstrates its impact.
What you’ll do:
- Build and evolve IT performance measurement frameworks, including KPIs, dashboards, and reporting practices.
- Design and deliver clear, compelling reports that provide insight into IT delivery, health, and outcomes.
- Analyze complex data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and translate them into actionable recommendations.
- Partner with IT teams and leaders to define performance measures that reflect priorities and business value.
- Turn data into clear, concise narratives that help leaders quickly understand what matters and where to act.
- Improve the quality, consistency, and reliability of performance data across multiple sources.
- Contribute to planning and operating model discussions by bringing forward insights grounded in data.
- Continuously improve reporting tools, templates, and practices to make performance information easier to use and understand.
What you should have:
- An undergraduate degree in IT, business administration, analytics, finance, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience be considered.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in performance reporting, data analysis, or a similar role within a complex organization.
- A proven experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and reporting solutions for senior audiences.
- Strong experience with Power BI (or similar tools), including building dashboards and presenting performance insights.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work through ambiguity and generate meaningful insights from complex data.
- Strong communication skills with both official languages French and English, with the ability to translate data into clear, compelling insights that influence decisions.
- A demonstrated ability to build relationships, collaborate across teams, and bring stakeholders along in establishing consistent practices.
- The ability to connect strategy to measurable outcomes through performance indicators and reporting.
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience building or transforming a performance reporting or dashboard function.
- Familiarity with IT operating models, delivery environments, or governance practices.
- Experience driving continuous improvement or standardizing reporting practices.
