Join the Talent Acquisition Team, where you will be responsible to attract the best talents to ensure CMHC has the right people, in the right place, at the right time to execute the Corporation strategy. Bring your expertise to serve as a trusted Talent Acquisition Partner and subject matter Expert to provide strategic/ tactical advices, services and support to internal stakeholders. Essentially, you will be responsible to lead the full recruitment life cycle process from the requisition intake meeting to the onboarding of the candidates.

 

This job opening is for a 24 month temporary contract.


Responsibilities:

 

  • Partner with hiring managers and HRBP to understand functional area, business needs and role requirements. Determine sourcing & attraction strategies and timelines to fill the position in accordance with the established talent acquisition metrics & service level agreements.
  • Coach & assist hiring managers in appropriate interviewing techniques, applicant selection, salary negotiation and other topics related to Talent Acquisition best practices.
  • Use a variety of sourcing methods (including data mining, resume database searches, Linkedin Recruiter license, etc.) to source & attract the best & diverse talents for CMHC.
  • Screen candidates for minimum requirements: behavioural competencies, past experiences, education, salary expectations and availability. 
  • Perform salary analysis for candidate’s compensation package respecting internal equity and salary administration guidelines, prepare offer letters and present packages to candidates.
  • Contribute to special projects related to continuous improvement process in Talent Acquisition.


Minimum qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field such as Business Administration, Industrial Relations.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of full cycle recruitment experience in a large organization with the ability to manage a high volume positions. Note: Preference would be given to those with more than 5 years experience.
  • Experience in using social media, recruitment platforms or softwares, ATS database, websites, boolean searches and advanced sourcing techniques.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, policies and best practices related to talent acquisition.
  • Experience using an ATS (SuccessFactors is preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written & speaking in English and French).


Preferred qualifications: 

 

  • Demonstrated strong project management skills.
