In your role, you will create innovative employee communications and engagement campaigns to capture the attention of your audience through a wide range of channels. There’s a lot of noise out there and information overload is real! That’s why you will be trusted to work with the business to define clear objectives, identify your target audiences, work in partnership with all sorts of creative people to design content, and see the results of your work by monitoring results and suggest improvements. Not bad for a day of work, hey? 
 
This is a temporary position of a duration of 1 year.

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • We pick your brain when it’s time to provide strategic advices to the business on all things communications – be it to inform, to raise awareness, to influence, or to engage our audiences. 
  • You hold the pen when it comes to creating new, or reviewing existing content for all of our internal communications channels – be it the intranet, employee bulletins, townhalls, leadership forums, lunch and learn events, speaker series, etc.
  • You’ll design and lead the execution of strategic communications plan with one simple goal in mind: to make sure employees always find out first, and easily get the information they need, where and when they need it.
  • You’ll be the guardian of style, tone and plain language so the information we share with employees is useful, simple to understand, engaging and impactful.
  • You’ll be trusted to work with your colleagues to propose innovative approaches to meeting our communications objective. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field, such as communications and marketing, journalism, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a content creation role.
  • Knowledge of current industry trends in communications, employee engagement and marketing with a willingness to stay abreast of changes through continuous learning.
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use storytelling and plain language to influence an audience
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
