Join the Corporate Services Team in the Bilingual Senior Analyst, Total Rewards position, where our partners view CMHC as the catalyst for solving housing affordability challenges. In this role, you will Implement, administer and contribute to the ongoing assessment of various HR policies, programs and processes, ensuring continuous improvements, enhancements and efficiencies through research and analysis. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams on the development, implementation and evaluation of HR initiatives and liaise with external vendors and/or clients.
Please note this is a temporary full-time opportunity of 18 months.
What You’ll Do:
- Contribute to the analysis, design, and administration of Total Rewards programs, including Benefits, Recognition, Relocation, and other programs that align with company objectives for recruiting, retention, and employee engagement.
- Contribute to design and communication of Total Rewards programs.
- Participate in surveys, conduct research and analysis on best practices, track current and emerging HR trends.
- Collaborate with Legal, Accounting, and Taxation to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide calculations and estimates of program expenses to Finance and Corporate Planning groups on request and support the budget exercise.
- Produce ad hoc analyses, advice and guidance to HR Business Partners, recruiters, and Shared Services staff on HR programs.
- Partner with Systems in ensuring accuracy of data and seamless integration of systems and processes including benefits, payroll, and pension to support annual Total Rewards exercises.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure data integrity, accuracy in reporting and quality of service delivery.
What you should have:
- An undergraduate degree in human resources, business administration or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of work experience in a similar role.
- A demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems by collecting information from multiple sources.
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
- A demonstrated ability to build successful partnerships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- A knowledge and understanding of human resources management policies, practices, theories, concepts and systems.
- A demonstrated ability to work in an automated environment (proficiency in Microsoft Office, HR systems, etc.), with advanced Excel skills, analytical skills, finance and budgeting knowledge, math skills, modelling and benchmarking.
- Bilingualism (English and French).
