About the role
Join the Business Solutions Engineering Team, in the Manager – Software Engineering position. In this leadership role, you’ll guide a team of talented technology specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence. Reporting to the Senior Manager of the Corporate Service Team, you’ll be instrumental in shaping software engineering practices, driving delivery excellence, and enabling impactful business outcomes.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Lead and Inspire: Build, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team, creating an environment that values learning, accountability, and excellence.
  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and support activities to ensure systems stability, performance, and compliance with service-level objectives.
  • Drive Results: Manage project execution and operational priorities to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope.
  • Optimize Operations: Implement and refine operational frameworks that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and ensure smooth delivery across initiatives.
  • Promote Best Practices: Establish clear processes and standards that improve efficiency and maintain consistency across initiatives.
  • Champion Innovation: Encourage creative thinking and new approaches that enhance our ability to deliver value to clients and stakeholders.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance monitoring, and adopt new technologies that drive better performance and scalability.
  • Develop Talent: Provide coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities to team members, supporting their professional development.

 

What you should have:

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in technology or software delivery.
  • At least 3 years in a leadership role with direct report employees.
  • Proven ability to manage complex software environments, prioritize competing demands, and deliver consistent operational outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on business continuity and risk mitigation.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and French, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • A collaborative mindset and experience building strong relationships across diverse teams.

 

It would be great if you also had: 

 

  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms and agile delivery practices (e.g., D365 F&O, SuccessFactors, Sitecore).
  • Understanding of emerging technology trends and their application to enterprise software operations.
