Bilingual Senior Analyst, Total Rewards (Position can be based anywhere in Canada)

Please note this is a temporary, full-time opportunity of 12 months.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Contributes to the analysis, design, and administration of Total Rewards programs, including Recognition, Perks, Relocation, and other programs that align with company objectives for recruiting, retention, and employee engagement. 
  • Contributes to design and communication of Total Rewards programs. 
  • Participates in surveys, conducts research and analysis on best practices, tracks current and emerging HR trends. 
  • Collaborates with Legal, Accounting, and Taxation to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide support for training, policy, and communications related to Total Rewards.
  • Provides calculations and estimates of program expense to Finance and Corporate Planning groups on request and supports the macro-budget exercise.
  • Produces ad hoc analyses, advice and guidance to HR Business Partners, recruiters, and Shared Services staff on HR programs.
  • Supports annual Total Rewards review processes and the updating of the Total Rewards Statements.
  • Partners with Systems in ensuring accuracy of data and seamless integration of systems and processes including benefits, payroll, and pension to support annual Total Rewards exercises.
  • Coordinates with third-party vendors to ensure data integrity, accuracy in reporting and quality of service delivery. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Undergraduate degree in human resources, business administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems by collecting information from multiple sources.
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build successful partnerships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and understanding of human resources management policies, practices, theories, concepts and systems.
  • Knowledge of legislative issues and industry trends relating to human resources.
  • Knowledge and understanding of organizational development practices and concepts, policy development and project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an automated environment (proficiency in Microsoft Office, HR systems, etc.).
  • Advanced Excel skills, analytical skills, finance and budgeting knowledge, math skills, modelling, benchmarking.
  • Strong attention to detail and data validation skills.
  • Risk management and privacy awareness.
  • Bilingualism (English and French).
