Salary: Our salaries generally range from $ 52286.89 to $ 65358.61 and are based on qualifications and experience.

About the role
Join the Housing Program team in the Account Representative position. In this role, you will assume responsibility for a portfolio of accounts, including the administration and decisions relevant to servicing and lending activities for the purpose of mitigating risks, optimizing client service, and achieving corporate objectives. You will provide superior quality service that contributes to a positive corporate image and sound business relationships with a broad range of industry clients through internal and external liaisons. 
  
This is a temporary position of a duration of 12 months. 
 
 What you’ll do:   

  • Deal with a varied base of internal and external clients and maintain quality relationships with these clients. 
  • Assume responsibility for working in a team environment in contribution to service standards and turnaround times. Use effective communication techniques, both written and oral, to deliver quality service.
  • Take immediate action to address client needs and inquiries, primarily received through a group mailbox.  
  • Provide effective and efficient delivery of services in contribution to service standards. 
  • Exercise prudence and due diligence to ensure compliance with all relevant internal policies and procedures applicable to the function. 
  • Ensure that all documentation is in place in accordance with program audit requirements and maintain a high standard of accuracy and data quality. 
  • Be responsible for weekly and bi-monthly reporting requirements.
  • Triage funding applications as required. 

  
What you should have :     

  • A college Diploma and/or Undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or commerce. 
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a finance or customer service role. 
  • A demonstrated compliance to applicable procedures, policies, and regulations. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong oral and written communication skills. 
  • Bilingualism (English and French).

 
  It would be great if you also had:

  • A post-graduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. 
  • A sound knowledge of mortgage financing and real estate laws, default remedy, and/or property administration. 
  • An experience working with Indigenous communities or Indigenous organizations.
