This is a temporary position of a duration of 18 months.

 

Responsibilities:

• Maintains, monitors and supports the Accounts Receivable module within the Corporation’s financial reporting system.
• Investigates and resolves payment and settlement discrepancies.
• Provides functional guidance on collections and settlements matters.
• Analyzes and prepares monthly reports on the Corporation’s accounts receivables and/or settlement activities.
• Provides oversight for financial data transactions to ensure the accurate recording of data from corporate financial and/or transactional systems and the reconciliation, balancing, analysis and reporting in support of the records.
• Updates or recommends improvements to internal processes or financial systems, as needed.

 

Minimum Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree or college diploma in business administration, finance and economics with a concentration in finance/accounting.
• Minimum of one to three years’ experience in accounting and/or in accounts receivable.
• Knowledge and understanding of corporate accounting policies.
• Knowledge and understanding of financial and internal control frameworks, requirements and procedures.
• Bilingual in both official languages (French and English)
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics software would be considered an asset.
