Salary: Our salaries generally range from $ 53332.63 to $ 66665.78 and are based on qualifications and experience.

About the role
Join the the Indigenous and Northern Housing Solutions team in the Account Representative position. You will be responsible for providing operational and administrative support in the delivery of National Housing Strategy and existing CMHC programs. This includes the administration and decisions relevant to underwriting, servicing and lending activities for the purpose of data management, mitigating risks, optimizing client service and achieving corporate objectives. You will provide superior quality service that contributes to a positive corporate image and sound business relationships with a broad range of clients through internal and external liaisons.

 

This is a temporary position until May 22, 2026.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Manage inquiries by offering advice, support and alternative solutions to internal and external clients through the communication of key decisions, and interpretation of policies.
  • Ensure that access to tools, resources and data is organized and well maintained across multiple platforms including MS Teams, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Maintain up to date task planner, meeting agendas, minutes, and records of decision. 
  • Support the delivery of programs in assessing applications for completeness including data quality monitoring and reporting.
  • Ensure that all documentation is in place in accordance with program audit requirements, and maintain a high standard of accuracy and data quality.
  • Assist with the review, prioritization and approval of subsidy, contribution, and loan applications under the National Housing Strategy (NHS) and existing CMHC programs
  • Participate in internal processes involving performance monitoring and quality assurance, by reviewing work and submitting detailed reports as required.
  • Assume responsibility for working in a team environment in contribution to service standards and turnaround times.

 

What you should have:

 

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as business, finance or commerce, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Strong understanding of serviced client groups in Canada, including related legal documentation.

 

It would be great if you also had:

 

  • Sound knowledge of social and affordable housing, mortgage financing and real estate laws, default remedy and/or property administration.
