About the role   

We are hiring full-time Fall interns beginning in September through December 2026. Our internship program is designed to help you grow, with access to training resources, interesting projects, and networking sessions that support your development and help you discover your full potential.

Here’s an example of how you’ll make an impact:

  • Modelling:
    • Compile, sort and organize data in preparation for subsequent analysis. Test and validate hypotheses through the application of a range of advanced mathematical, statistical, scientific and / or computational techniques. 
    • Identify and resolve data quality issues by conducting both routine and ad-hoc data cleaning and testing.                                              
    • Apply quantitative analysis concepts within the context of job assignments.  Use mathematics, statistical tools and computer-aided techniques for the purpose of forecasting, analysis and display of data.
    • Support the team on all matters related to modelling and analytics, risk management and model validation using advanced data analysis tools and techniques. 
    • Contribute to model documentation, good model governance and tools for model validation. Assist the division in identifying gaps in model governance and drafting model validation reports.
  • Survey Data Acquisition and Migration:
    • Compile, sort and organize data in preparation for integration and subsequent analysis. 
    • Supports data integrity, consistency, and accessibility by overseeing extraction processes, mapping data fields, and performing quality checks throughout migration.
    • Coordinating with stakeholders to identify data sources, cleaning and transforming datasets, documenting workflows, and ensuring compliance with data governance and privacy standards.
    • Enabling accurate reporting, analytics, and informed decision-making based on survey data.

 
What you need to succeed: 

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a University degree in a related discipline such as Computer science, Data analytics, Finance, mathematics, economics, and statistics.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of data analytics.    
  • Experience can be acquired through the studies, work experience or volunteer activities.   
  • Ability to program in Python
  • Strong oral and written communication, excellent organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.

  
Nice to have:

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset, but not required.
  • Experience with SQL, SAS and R is considered an asset.
  • Experience with Sharepoint and Power BI Dashboards (Oversight) is considered an asset
