About the role
Join the Data Team in the Manager, Programs position. You will be responsible for the delivery of Survey Operations for the province of Quebec. You will oversee and develop a team, while managing the administration of day-to-day operations, client relations and/or data collection, and research.
 
What you’ll do:

  • Ensure effective and efficient delivery of regional survey operation and consistency in the application and interpretation of operational procedures.
  • Provide quality, reliable and timely outputs from CMHC Surveys within the assigned budget.
  • Develop strategies, identify improvements and collaborate on issue resolution with national teams, local partners and stakeholders.
  • Manage risk by monitoring the quality of results, market conditions and key performance indicators (KPIs), and deploy tactics and strategies to improve risk performance and response rates for all surveys.
  • Develop, implement and monitor data collection and processes to improve operations and promote continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

 
What you should have:

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field such as business administration, finance or commerce.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience with delivery of Survey Operations, including three years of supervisory experience and demonstrated experience supervising staff remotely (an equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment with the ability to lead others in times of change.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both official languages (French and English), including the ability to influence, persuade others and present information to a variety of audiences.
  • Well-developed research and data collection and intelligence-gathering skills.
