About the role

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Bilingual Manager, Information Governance to lead the transition and ongoing operations of insourced information governance processes. This role is responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and strategic direction to ensure alignment with organizational goals, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in information and records management practices.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Ensure alignment of information governance activities with broader organizational objectives.
  • Lead strategic planning efforts related to information governance and management.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and internal policies.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to support team development and capability building.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance productivity and morale.
  • Define objectives, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and track progress against goals.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure operational resilience.

 

What you should have:

 

  • An Undergraduate degree from a recognized university in a relevant field such as Commerce, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience, including 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, team leadership, and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Bilingualism (English and French).

 

It would be great if you also had:

 

  • Experience with tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Purview, Records365, and ServiceNow.
