Senior Analyst, Client Relations (Atlantic Region)

Join the Client Solution Team, where our partners view CMHC as the catalyst for solving housing affordability challenges. In this role, you will establish and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external clients while identifying opportunities for stronger partnerships with CMHC. Working with clients and making recommendations on how to improve processes will help us make housing affordable for everyone in Canada.


Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance to multi-unit clients on new and/or existing CMHC's programs, including program requirements, application process, etc.
• Support the delivery of programs by identifying and verify business opportunities with multi-unit borrowers
• Contribute operational performance by leveraging reporting tools and reviewing key performance indicators to provide insights on potential solutions and improvements
• Develop and maintain business relationships with internal and external clients involved in the Canadian multi-unit housing sector
• Create a positive client experience by providing timely and insightful responses to client inquiries.

 

Minimum Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in business administration, accounting, or finance.
• Three years of experience working in real estate, lending, or in an industry related to housing. (International is recognized)
• Experience analyzing and interpreting business data
• Familiarity with multi-unit construction and development
• Experience developing existing and new relationships.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications
• Solid understanding of the Canadian housing market industry (construction, rental, multi-unit development)
• Previous underwriting experience or demonstrated ability of using financial information to assess credit worthiness
• Bilingualism (French and English)
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified in Real Estate Finance (CRF), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS), Canadian Risk Manager (CRM)
