Student intern, Risk (Position can be located anywhere in Canada)

Join the Client Operations Team, where we make housing affordability solutions easy. In this role, you will be providing assistance in reporting requirements, data-driven insights development and analysis by collecting, reviewing and analyzing data. You will use appropriate tools to perform data mining in support of team initiatives and business needs. You will also help support a range of activities related to reports preparation and presentation.


We are currently hiring for a full-time Student Intern for a 4-month Summer term (May - August).



• Collaborate with and provide risk analysis support to peers.
• Collect data and analyze risk using pre-set tools, methods and formats.
• Use risk and data management systems to access specific information for gathering and summarizing data for reports.     
• Provide analysis support in the risk assessments for presenting information in a way that is clear and easily understood by stakeholders.
• Assist with the research and analysis on industry standards, best practices and changes to guidelines and regulations that affect the provision of CMHC products, programs and/or services.     
• Prepare documents using a variety of computer applications such as Microsoft Office. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.   
• Contribute to internal development of riskdata insights, data collection and reporting preparation.


Minimum Qualifications
• New Graduate or pursuing an undergraduate degree in business administration, economics, mathematics or statistics or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-year experience or the experience can be acquired through the studies, work experience or volunteer activities.  
• Risk and Data analysis skills with the ability to capture and synthesize information.
• Ability to function in a technological environment using tools such as spreadsheets, databases and applications as well as consolidation and reporting tools     
• Good verbal and communications skills     
• Good organizational skills     
• Bilingualism (French and English)
