Senior Manager, Technology and Business Optimization (Position can be located anywhere in Canada)

Join the Corporate Support Services Team, where our partners view CMHC as the catalyst for solving housing affordability challenges. Oversees the prioritization, development, implementation and maintenance of the Corporation’s applications, tools and/or business systems and any interfaces to these systems for the sector. Manages risks, including the development of mitigation and contingency plans, and manages their timely    resolution by collaborating with internal and/or external stakeholders. Oversees the implementation of process improvements through technology and automation to gain sector efficiencies and effectiveness.


Responsibilities: 

•    Collects, consolidates and understands the business system requirements, changes and enhancements for the sector, including major system transformations.
•    Provides advice and guidance to stakeholders on implementation risks and mitigation strategies, internal controls, and on the application of policies and procedures related to the program component of SAP SuccessFactors, its’ tools and/or business system impacts.
•    Conducts analyses of business processes and provides advice to identify application, tool and/or business system improvement opportunities
•    Provides advice and guidance to business teams on possible technology, automation solutions, and system improvements. 
•    Oversee end-to-end execution across multiple parallel programs, including risk management, issue/conflict resolution and dependency management.
•    Identify, evaluate, prioritize and drive business process optimization and business improvement projects across the sector.


Minimum Qualifications:

•    Undergraduate degree in a related field such as computer science, finance, business administration or commerce with a concentration in IT. 
•    Minimum of ten years of related experience with increasing responsibilities and notable success in HR Business System (in SAP SuccessFactors will be an asset). 
•    Minimum of five years of supervisory experience.
•    Sound knowledge of information management practices and evolving techniques and applications.
•    Strong project management skills, including the ability to undertake and complete multiple, concurrent tasks under tight timelines. Exceptional interpersonal capabilities with demonstrated ability to interface and work with colleagues, showing tact and diplomacy at all times.
•    Strong process and solution design skills, able to develop solutions to complex problems
•    Bilingualism (French and English)
