Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (Position can be located anywhere in Canada)

Join the Office of the Chief Financial Officer Team, where we use financial foresight and legal insight to improve housing affordability. Reporting to the Director, FP&A, you will lead a project team (4-6 people) on the implementation of a new financial planning and forecasting tool. You will act a champion in the face of change, build relationships with management, and effectively communicate changes to senior management and the broader organization.


This is a temporary position of a duration of 18 months.


• Establish and execute project plans and lead the project team.
• Build and maintain strong business relationships, acting as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor.
• Act as a catalyst for organizational change by building a shared vision with colleagues and influence the translation of vision into action.
• Collaborate and consult with affected finance and business stakeholders.
• Identify and prioritize financial planning process improvements and execute an effective change management plan.
• Lead the development of benefit realization measures and indicators that ensure that the project aligns with corporate objectives and divisional goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in business administration, accounting or commerce. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or a Master of Business Administration is required.
• Minimum of ten years of demonstrated experience in managing complex transformation efforts and leading others through change. Minimum of five years of supervisory experience.
• Strong background in financial planning and forecasting and zero-based budgeting.
• Experience implementing financial planning and forecasting tools.
• Ability to create transformation solutions and support their design and implementation.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills in both official languages (French and English).
• Ability to persuade and influence finance and business stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project and change management.


Preferred Qualifications:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, and/or Change Management certification would be considered an asset.
