Join the Communication and Marketing Team to provide leadership and direction for the creation and delivery of CMHC`s Marketing vision while coaching and mentoring a large team of professionals in the following functions:  creatives resources, branding, WEB, Intranet, social media, content and campaigns and channel analytics.  Play a key role in identifying trends and insights in the industry and be accountable for the brand management at CMHC by articulating to all Canadian our mandate and the government commitment to making meaningful housing investments in support of our aspiration which is:  by 2030, everyone in Canada has a home that they can afford and that meets their needs

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop an optimal marketing and creative strategy and framework for the marketing function supported by strategies and processes that promote CMHC programs and develop approaches to increase engagement throughout the customer journey.
  • Oversees the marketing operations via : data collection, results analysis, strategy recommendation, budget optimization and customer information analysis.
  • Oversee and ensure the planning and implementation of qualitative and quantitative research to deepen our understanding of the needs, attitudes, behaviours, and perceptions of CMHC’s audiences / stakeholders.
  • Oversees CMHC various digital channels including the development, implementation, measurement monitoring (KPI and goals) and their performance assessment.
  • Is responsible for CMHC’s brand reputation by assessing and measuring it’s influence, reputation and brand alignment and owns the influence barometer to measure how CMHC activities are influencing conversations, behaviours and perceptions over time.
  • Oversee and lead a large team, delegating responsibility and accountability, identifying development of team talent and skills while building capabilities within a division and is responsible to maintain and update the marketing budgets and calendar for the activities under his/her responsibility.

 

Minimum qualifications :


•    Undergraduate degree in marketing-communications, digital communications, business or equivalent education/experience.

•    Minimum 13 years of experience in marketing-communications with demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing combined with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership position.

•    Proven marketing experience (brand awareness, positioning, campaigns as well as leading a marketing team).
•    Strong political sensitivity, with the ability to analyze and approach situations with tact, diplomacy and sound judgement.

•    Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including ability to adapt messages to different audiences.

•    Knowledge and understanding of digital analytics and outcome-based measurement that impact business decisions.

 

Preferred qualifications:


•    Experience working in a federally regulated / crown corporation environment.
•    Experience in a marketing, advertising agency an asset.
